British manufacturing is alive and well...
After a busy couple of days at Mach seeing all the fantastic machinery on offer and automation solutions, I am pleased to announce we have placed orders for two more DMG Mori machines to further our capacity and capability.
The NLX 2500 / 700 SY machine which is already a popular machine for us will be the 5th NLX to be added to our factory. However this one will have a gantry loader, allowing automation of billet work up to 200mm dia and configured for lights out machining.
We have also ordered a second 5 axis machine following the success of the DMU 75 MonoBLOCK that we took delivery of 18 months ago. Demand for this machine is sky high so we will be adding the DMU 65 monoBLOCK with 3 pallet changer. Again to further our journey into automation, also configured for lights out manufacture.
The continued support to our business from fellow Made in the Midlands member DMG Mori and the machine reliability, accuracy and ease of use has made this decision a very easy one.
